Lucy provides creative direction for MISA by designing original branding materials for MISA’s events. Her goal is to strengthen MISA’s brand identity and capture the attention of students. She hopes to increase exposure to fantastic opportunities that MISA offers for students to expand our network and knowledge within the business technology area
Sean oversees all portfolios of MISA and ensures that all of our pillar events align with MISA’s mission. He hopes to be able to enhance the organization’s culture as well as internal use of technology to improve efficiency and daily operations, and guide MISA to a stronger position post-COVID-19.
With Maihur, Willson is responsible for MISA’s corporate contacts and sponsors. His goal is to continue to maintain healthy relationships with current MISA sponsors and to build new partnerships for our events this year and the following years.
With Brian, Dhruv is in charge of analyzing possible implementations which align with MISA’s goals and organizing logistics for internal events. He hopes to implement measures which enhance the member experience for the organizations and for students interested in gaining experience within the business technology area.
Alongside Dhruv, Brian organizes MISA’s logistics for internal events and analyzes implementations of MISA’s goals ensuring alignment with the club’s mission. His goal is to establish measurements witin MISA to identify areas for improvements so that MISA can be better serve all students interested in business and technology.
Maihur works with Wilson to foster and develop positive relationships with industry professionals, firms, and sponsors. His goal is to allgin MIS students with industry professionals through our programs to learn about their unique experiences and expertise within the business-technology industry.
Heidi is in charge of MISA’s financial statements and helps budget for events, such as MIS Link and Connect. Her goal is to enhance all student experiences at Beedie through bettering MISA’s financial position while positively impacting student engagement at events. She is hoping that her goal will help those who may be working with MISA in the near future.
Edward plans MISA’s events and manages event logistics. He hopes to carry on the legacy of past MISA successes by providing Beedie students an opportunity to attend informative workshops and learn more about the MIS industry.
Yu Bin works closely with SFU Faculty, Professors, MISA BOA, CMC and SEO to address opportunities and issues facing MISA and SFU Beedie. He hopes to develop and foster an environment within MISA where our members feel accepted and work more cohesively; ultimately, allowing MISA to offer amazing MIS related events and opportunities to SFU students.
Celia oversees MISA’s social media pages and manages MISA’s online communications. She hopes to increase engagement within the MIS community and encourage students to get involved, make connections, and seize the fantastic opportunities that MISA offers through its events.
Karina oversees the use of technology within MISA and researches technological implementations that align with our goals. Her goal is to set a high standard of this new director position by implementing useful technology that can benefit MISA, and to expose more students to the business technoology industry through our events.
